Bantaeng Police Examine 9 Witnesses In The Case Of Santri Died Depending
The Bantaeng Police examined nine witnesses regarding the death of a student with the initials RF (14) who was found dead hanging at the Hasyim Asy'ari Islamic Boarding School, Banteng Regency, South Sulawesi.
"Currently we are still carrying out the investigation process. We have examined nine people (witnesses)," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Bantaeng Police AKP Akhmad Marzuki as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, November 26.
Despite examining nine witnesses, it is possible that in handling this case, other witnesses will examine considering that the case of the student's death is suspected to be irregularities.
"We started from the initial incident and it has been examined, maybe later (witnesses) will increase again," he said.
Previously, RF's 14-year-old body was found hanging under the house of the Hasyim Asy'ari Islamic Boarding School supervisor with a sarong not up to a inch of land on Saturday (23/11/2024) at around 20:00 WITA.
The boarding school is located in Taneea Hamlet, Nipa-Nipa Village, Pajukukang District, Bantaeng Regency, South Sulawesi. The victim was then taken to Makassar to undergo an autopsy because his death was suspicious.

From the statement of the Forensic Specialist of the South Sulawesi Police Dokpol, Doctor Denny has conducted an autopsy on the students suspected of hanging themselves.
The autopsy process, he said, was carried out for approximately three hours by examining the body of the outside to the body inside the victim's body.
"So, we also carried out an external examination (of the body), including the inside of the corpse," he said.
However, his party did not convey the full results of the autopsy examination on the victim's body. However, there were allegations of violence on the victim's body.
"So for the details that I can convey earlier. This is still in the process of being investigated. But for sure, there are some findings (from the autopsy) and we suspect signs of violence," he said.
