Armed Forces Chief Of Staff Says Iran Prepares Responses Beyond Israel's Imagination

JAKARTA - Iran's Chief of Armed Forces Chief of Staff Major General Mohammad Bagheri said Tehran had prepared an unimaginary response in response to Israeli aggression.

Speaking among senior commanders of the Iranian Armed Forces, General Bagheri said the Zionist criminal regime had crossed state limits.

Turning to the despair of the Zionist regime on two fronts in Gaza and southern Lebanon, he stated, "Despite all the heinous crimes he has committed against civilians in Lebanon and the Gaza Strip, the army of the Zionist regime has not been able to reach a single point in its declaration," as quoted from Mehr November 26.

With full military and political support from the United States and its allies, the Zionist criminal regime has violated all international laws and regulations, has expelled many innocent people from their homes with the aim of spreading war in the region under the shadow of the inaction of the international community, said General Bagheri.

"Zionists have crossed the red limit, but they must know the Iranian Armed Forces will give different responses to aggressors that will make them regret ( THEIR actions), at the right time without delay or rush," he said, noting that retaliation would be appropriate and carried out wisely.

As stated by Revolutionary Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, Iran's military commander and political official will not hesitate or rush in determining the shape and time of response to the criminal Zionist regime, General Bagheri added.

Iran confirmed it would respond to Israeli attacks on October 26. The Times of Israel quoted The Wall Street Journal as reporting Sunday that Iran would use a larger warhead and weapons that had not been used in the two previous attacks.

Defense Minister Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh said Iran was capable of carrying out dozens of countermeasures such as Operation True Promise, which targeted Israeli-occupied Palestinian territory in April.

During the operation, Iran fired more than 300 missiles and drones into occupied territory, in retaliation for the deadly aggression of the Israeli regime that had targeted Iranian diplomatic facilities in the Syrian capital, Damascus, early that month.

Meanwhile, in early October, Iran launched 200 missiles into Israeli military and intelligence bases across the occupied territory as part of Operation True Promise II.

The second operation was carried out in response to the more deadly atrocities by the Zionist regime against Iran and other regional countries, including Israel's assassination of Hamas Chief Ismail Haniyeh, Hezbollah Leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and senior commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard (IRGC) Abbas Nilforoushan.

True Promise II, which took place on October 1, triggered Israel to counterattack on October 26. Iran had previously warned Israel not to try to retaliate against the attack, but to ignore it.
