National Cyber and Crypto Agency Forms Cybersecurity Personnel to Secure 2024 Simultaneous Regional Elections
JAKARTA - The National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN) of the Republic of Indonesia has prepared hundreds of cybersecurity personnel to secure the 2024 Simultaneous Regional Head Elections (Pilkada).
Collaborating with several agencies, hundreds of Cybersecurity personnel who are members of the BSSN Cyber and Crypto Security Task Force are spread across 37 Provinces.
With the deployment of the Cyber and Crypto Security Task Force, BSSN hopes that the 2024 Simultaneous Pilkada can run safely and smoothly.
In a press release received on Tuesday, November 26, BSSN said that the security implemented is not only focused on monitoring traffic anomalies, but also the devices, infrastructure and networks used by the KPU.
The BSSN Cyber and Crypto Security Task Force will also implement the same security on supporting assets at Bawaslu, the Constitutional Court (MK), the Election Organizer Honorary Council (DKPP), the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri), the Coordinating Ministry for Political and Security Affairs (Kemenko Polkam), and the Ministry of Communication and Digital (Komdigi).

Not only that, the BSSN Cyber and Crypto Security Task Force will also secure disinformation surrounding the 2024 Pilkada.
