Public Relations Of South Jakarta PA Alludes To The Status Of The Mahalini Convert After The Rizky Febian Isbat Session Was Rejected

JAKARTA - Public Relations of the South Jakarta Religious Court, Suryana explained the reason the panel of judges finally decided to reject the request for Rizky Febian and Mahalini's trial.

Where the marriage of the two singers is considered not to fulfill the marriage pattern. One of them is related to the marriage guardian from Mahalini's side.

"From the results of the examination, the panel of judges decided that the marriage was indeed carried out, it turned out that from the results of the examination by the panel of judges there was one of the marriage pillars that was not fulfilled," said Suryana at her office, Monday, November 25.

"One of them is the guardian who got married, not the guardian who has the right to marry," he continued.

Where the status of the Mahalini converts is suspected to be one of the reasons for their marriage guardians when the consent is not in accordance with the provisions.

"So if we look at his background that his wife Mahalini is a convert, if I'm not mistaken, she's only been two days," explained Suryana.

"Then after he converted to Islam, he automatically married because his parents were also not Muslims, so that's where it means that his guardian is not his parents, right. Now in the trial the fact was found that it was the ustad that got married him," he added.

This was ultimately considered by the panel of judges that the marriage of Mahalini and Rizky Febian was invalid and had to be repeated.

"So the ustad got married on behalf of himself as the guardian of the judge because he did not have a guardian," he said.
