The Suspect In The Killer Of His Mother And Child In Sangihe Was Arrested, Quarreled When He Wanted To Check His Cellphone
North Sulawesi (Sulut) Regional Police arrested a suspect in the murder of a mother and child that occurred in Tiangg Baru Village, Central Tabukan, Sangihe Islands Regency.
Head of Public Relations of the North Sulawesi Regional Police, Kombes Michael Irwan Thamsil, said that the murder of a woman named Siti AS (23) and her 4-year-old child was carried out on Wednesday (20/11), at around 20.00 WITA by MFM (23) perpetrators.
"In a short period of time, no more than 1X24 hours, the suspect with the initials MFM was arrested in Bitung City," Thamsil said as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, November 22.
The motive for the murder was allegedly revealed because of jealousy, where the victim and the suspect were suspected of dating.
"The suspect at that time came to the victim's house in Central Tabukan District, and at that time there was a verbal concave.

The suspect at that time asked the victim's cellphone to be checked, but the victim ignored it, so the suspect took a machete, then pointed it at the face twice.
At that time the victim's child woke up, then the child did not escape the suspect's target.
"As a result of this act, the two victims immediately died. The suspect then tried to escape to Bitung using a passenger ship," he said.
