JAKARTA - The shipping company, Villa Vie Residence, offers Americans a 4-year holiday trip around the world by cruise. The trip is calculated from Donald Trump's tenure as president of the United States.

The travel program is called Tour La Vie, which offers a wide selection of stay above Villa Vie Odysessy. Including an Escape from Reality voyage for a year, then a Mid-Term Selection voyage for two years.

There is also a choice of shipping for three years, namely Everywhere but Home, and the last is a four-year voyage known as Skip Forward.

Villa Vie Residence CEO Mikael Petterson said that the cruise ship travel program had been made before the results of the 2024 US Presidential Election were announced. However, now it relies on the program as an option for US citizens who want to run away from Donald Trump's new leadership.

"To be honest we don't have any political views. We just want to give people who feel threatened with a way to get out (of the situation)," Mikael Pertterson said, quoted by The Independent, on Friday, November 22, 2024.

The rates set to take part in cruise ship trips range from 40 thousand US dollars or Rp. 637 million per year, single residential cabins for 4 years worth 256,000 US dollars or Rp. 4 billion, to double housing worth 320 thousand US dollars or around Rp. 5 billion.

These prices already include facilities on cruise ships, food and beverages, as well as WiFi and medical services. Grain management facilities every week and laundry services are also provided once a week.
