Hungary Will Install An Air Defense System Near The Ukrainian Border

JAKARTA - Hungary will install an air defense system near its border with Ukraine. Hungary is a country that is critical of Western support for Ukraine.

"We still believe that there will be peace as soon as possible, through diplomacy, not a military solution," Hungarian Defense Minister Kristof Szalay-Bobrovniczky said.

"However, to prepare for all possibilities, I ordered a newly purchased air and air defense control system as well as capabilities built on it to be installed in the northeast," he continued.

Hungary has long been critical of Western support for Ukraine. The country calls those who support Kyiv a pro-war.

Last week, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orb Badminton said the right thing to do was end the war as soon as possible.

On Thursday, Hungarian Secretary of State Pouter Szijj Badminton said Hungary was pleased with the recent US election results because of the attitude of President-elect Donald Trump towards the conflict.

Many of us expect major changes thanks to American voters and pro-peace candidate wins. We are very happy with the results, "said Szijj Badminton.
