Vice President Gibran Reveals NVIDIA Plans To Open AI School In Solo
JAKARTA - Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka revealed the plan of a multinational technology company from the United States, NVIDIA to open a special school for the development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Solo, Central Java.
"Yesterday we had guests, the boss of NVIDIA, later he will invest in several cities, one of which is in Solo, he made an AI school," said Vice President Gibran in a speech at the meeting of Tanwir I Muhammadiyah Central Executive, in Jakarta as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, November 21.
In his direction, Vice President Gibran conveyed that the news was an opportunity that needed to be captured by the younger generation.
"If there is an opportunity like this, young people should be able to fill it, so don't let the government encourage it, but the young people don't follow," he said.
Meanwhile, during a visit to Jakarta, Thursday (14/11), Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang discussed the development of artificial intelligence (AI) in Indonesia.

Huang then emphasized the importance of utilizing AI technology for Indonesia as a step for the advancement of industry and society.
He stated that his party is ready to collaborate to advance AI in various sectors in the country.
"So, it's a great honor for me to be here and start our partnerships and partnerships with your country," Huang said.
