Bandung Police Raid Online Gambling Headquarters In Leuwipanjang, Omzet Per Month Reaches IDR 500 Million
Bandung Police raided online or online gambling headquarters operating covertly in the Leuwipanjang area, Bandung, West Java and arrested five suspected perpetrators.
Bandung Police Chief Kombes Budi Sartono said the raid began with public reports regarding allegations of online gambling practices in one of the houses.
"Satreskrim Polrestabes Bandung has arrested approximately five people who are in this place, one person with the initials FG as a supervisor, and these four people are telemarketing," Budi said as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, November 21.
Budi revealed that the perpetrators used camouflage tactics by making the location look like a cloth shop.
During the raid, the police found a lot of cloth bales in front of the house, which turned out to be only used to trick local residents.
The suspect argued that they were selling cloth. Because in front of many cloth bales, that too during the raid they did not want to open. So we immediately do raids and arrest hands," he said.

Budi said the perpetrators were known to be tasked with distributing links to two online gambling sites, namely Mulujudi and GGcuan to the public.
From the results of the initial inspection, this headquarters has been operating since 2022 and makes a profit of around Rp. 300 million to Rp. 500 million per month.
"So indeed all of these links enter from abroad, here they spread online gambling sites. When people are tempted to click, they benefit from the link," said Budi.
