Johanis Tanak Who Wants To Remove OTT KPK Has Assets Of IDR 11.2 Billion
JAKARTA - Johanis Tanak was re-elected as chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). He pocketed 48 votes from members of Commission III of the DPR in voting.
As for the fit and proper test, Johanis was in the spotlight. Because, he did not agree with the hand arrest operation (OTT) and would delete it if he had the opportunity to become chairman of the KPK.
Then how much wealth?
Johanis conveyed to the KPK that he had assets of Rp. 11.2 billion in the state administrator's wealth report (LHKPN). He handed over the obligation as an official on February 26.
In the report, Johanis recorded three land and building assets worth Rp5,964,200,000. The details are in the Karawang and East Jakarta areas.
In addition, he also recorded ownership of five motorized vehicles consisting of cars and motorbikes with a value of Rp685 million.
The details are the 1997 Toyota Corolla Sedan car for IDR 40 million; Universal CJ 7 Car in 1980 IDR 250 million; 2015 KTM 350 cc motorbike IDR 100 million; and the 2013 Honda CRZ Sedan IDR 295 million.

All of these vehicle assets have their own results. Tanak also reported ownership of other movable assets worth IDR 139,000,000 and cash and cash equivalents of IDR 4,423,350,499.
"The total assets are Rp11,211,550,499," as reported by the elhkpn.kpk.go.id page.
There was an additional assets of IDR 2,148,042,173 from the previous year's report. On February 27, 2023, Tanak reported ownership of assets worth IDR 9,063,508,326.
As previously reported, Commission III of the DPR RI has appointed five KPK leaders for the 2024-2029 period in a plenary meeting on Thursday, November 21.
Those elected were Setyo Budianto with 46 votes, Johanis Tanak 48 votes, Fitroh Rohcahyanto with 48 votes, Agus Joko Pramono 39 votes, and Ibnu Basuki Widodo 33 votes.
Setyo was then elected as Chairman of the KPK for the period 2024-2029. He got 45 votes.
