5 Months 'Kursus', Woman Former Kindergarten Teacher Successfully Shoots Falling Russian Missiles

JAKARTA - A former kindergarten teacher was awarded by Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov for his role in shooting down Russian missiles.

Natalia Grabarchuk is a Ukrainian soldier who completed training five months before the mission.

Natalia accurately launched an anti-missile device 'Igla' to shoot down Russian cruise missiles bound for critical infrastructure facilities in the Rivne region, Ukraine.

The mission, recorded on video, was shared by the Ukrainian Air Force.

In a video reported by CNN, Wednesday, November 20, Grabarchuk is seen operating an anti-aircraft missile, placing the device on its shoulder before firing it. A puff of smoke was seen, followed by the sound of a big explosion.

Natalia knelt down when she was congratulated by her colleagues.

"Very good" said his colleagues in the video. You did it, Natalia, you did it!

Responding to the success of the mission on Sunday, Grabarchuk said he was very pleased to have succeeded in hitting the Russian missile.

"After the fight was over, I let my emotions go wild," he added.

In a post on Facebook on Tuesday, Umerov called former kindergarten teachers and colleagues Olga Makisimenko and Valentina Steblevts an extraordinary symbol of professionalism and courage.
