Mendikdasmen Segera Putrakan Circular Implementasi Makan Bergizi Gratis

JAKARTA - Minister of Basic and Secondary Education (Mendikdasmen) Abdul Mu'ti said he would issue a circular to schools to strengthen the content of the implementation of the Free Nutrition Food program as a program for fulfilling nutrition as well as strengthening the character of students.

Mu'ti explained that her party issued the circular to ensure that each school had the same meaning regarding the program, so that its implementation was not only seen as a program for fulfilling nutrition.

"We will also provide such circulars to schools so that the Free Nutrition Eating program is not only a program for fulfilling physical health, but also part of character formation," said Mu'ti as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, November 18.

According to him, teachers can explain to students about the content of character values in every implementation of the Free Nutrition Food program, starting from spiritual values, tolerance, to responsibility.

Regarding spiritual values, for example, he explained that the Free Nutrition Eating program can also teach students about these values through prayer activities before eating.

In addition, Mu'ti said that prostitution took sufficient food in the Free Nutrition Eating program which was carried out indirectly and also taught students about the value of tolerance and tolerance with their classmates.

As for strengthening the value of responsibility, he explained that the Free Nutrition Food program can teach and strengthen the value of responsibility for students by asking them to bring and wash their respective food items brought from home.

"Then there are various other values, so we will try to provide the guidelines so that the Free Nutrition Eating program is once again not solely for fulfilling nutrition related to physical health, but also part of the formation of character education," he said.
