Kim Doyeon And Choi Yoojung Continue Fantagio Contract, Ji Suyeon Chooses To Leave

JAKARTA - The Fantagio agency shared the latest news regarding the contract status of three former Weki Meki members: Ji Suyeon, Choi Yoojung, and Kim Doyeon.

Weki Meki officially disbanded last August. At that time, the agency explained that Elly, Sei, Lua, Rina and Lucy's contracts ended after their contracts ended while Ji Suyeon, Choi Yoojung, and Kim Doyeon were still discussing their contracts.

Monday, November 18, Fantagio announced Choi Yoojung and Kim Doyeon are renewing their contracts. Unlike Ji Suyeon, who did not continue the exclusive contract.

"After seven years as a member of Weki Meki, Ji Suyeon decided to terminate the exclusive contract with us after the extension of the discussion," Fantagio said.

"We thank Ji Suyeon for her dedication as a member of Weki Meki and support her for a new future," he said.

Meanwhile, Choi Yoojung and Kim Doyeon renewed their contracts with us after careful discussions, continued the agency.

Fantagio hopes to support the career of the two former IOI members. The agency has also not provided news regarding their future career plans.

"Even though the group activities are over, we will struggle to support their individual careers and help them achieve their careers in various fields. We ask for your support for Choi Yoojung and Kim Doyeon," concluded the agency.

Apart from having a career as idols, Kim Doyeon and Choi Yoojung are known to be active in acting. This year, Kim Doyeon starred in the films 18 Youth and Amoeba Girls and School Ghost Stories: School Anniversary.

Choi Yoojung also acted through the special drama A Bicycle Runs on Two Wheels and was confirmed to join the film The Noisy Mansion.
