Starting A Strategic Partnership, AQUA And DMI Give Umrah Worship Opportunities For Khadimatul Mosques From Six Provinces

JAKARTA - AQUA in collaboration with the Indonesian Mosque Council (DMI), held the Umrah Khadimatul Mosque (Marbot) Program as a form of support for the empowerment of the people, especially the khadimatul of mosques in Indonesia. This program aims to provide opportunities to the elected khadimatul of the mosque, to perform Umrah worship, as a form of appreciation and appreciation for their contribution so far, in maintaining and caring for mosques in the country.

Dr. H. Rahmat Hidayat, SE., MT, as Secretary General of DMI, expressed his deepest gratitude to AQUA.

This is a very noble step, so that the khadimatul of the mosque can feel an extraordinary opportunity to carry out the Umrah pilgrimage. We hope this will be the first step that will bring blessings to all parties. May AQUA always be given smoothness as well as blessings in every step," he said, Saturday, November 16.

Although Umrah worship has a very important meaning for Muslims, the opportunity to perform it cannot necessarily be obtained by everyone. Khadimatul mosques have a very important role in maintaining the smooth running and sustainability of Muslim worship in nearby environmental mosques, but most of the khadimatul of mosques carry out their duties and services unconditionally.

So that the opportunity to carry out Umrah worship cannot be their priority, given the high cost of living and daily needs that must be met.

Arif Mujahidin, Corporate Communications Director of AQUA, added that the Umrah program for Khadimatul Masjid is the beginning of AQUA's long-term commitment with DMI to have a positive impact on Muslims in Indonesia.

This is not only about Umrah worship, but also about enlarging the goodness that can flow throughout society. In this spirit, we remember one of the important orders in Islam, namely Wata'awanu alal birri wattaqwa, which means, "And please help you in (performing) virtues and piety. We hope that the selected participants get valuable experience on this spiritual journey opportunity, and are increasingly excited in carrying out their duties and services after returning to their homeland later," he explained.

In the first phase of this program, AQUA and DMI dispatched 20 worshipers who are khadimatul mosques, from 6 provinces throughout Indonesia. In the future, the collaboration between AQUA and DMI will also cover social economic development programs, green mosque environmental programs, clean and healthy mosques, as well as other programs. It is hoped that this collaboration can realize the empowerment of the people in Indonesia as well as support the sustainability both environmentally, socially, economically, and health.

Through this Umrah pilgrimage, with all humility, AQUA hopes to give sincere appreciation to the khadimatul of mosques from various regions in Indonesia, for all the dedication and dedication they have given to the people and society. Hopefully this will be a real expression of gratitude for their services so far," concluded Arif.

AQUA continues to strengthen its commitment to spread goodness for as many people as possible and Muslims in Indonesia. Apart from DMI, AQUA has also collaborated with various Muslim organizations in Indonesia such as PBNU, LPBI NU, LP Ma'arif NU, RMI NU, Islamic Boarding School Economic Union, PP Muhammadiyah, as well as Islamic Boarding Schools and Mosques from various regions in Indonesia.
