Vivo X200 Ultra Will Come With Smaller Main Camera Sensors
Vivo is likely to bring a small change to their latest flagship model, Vivo X200 Ultra. Based on a leak from China's tipster, Digital Chat Station, the phone will be equipped with a 50MP resolution main camera, but with a smaller sensor size, which is about 1/1.3 inches. This is different from its predecessor carrying a large 1-inch sensor.
Vivo's decision to minimize this major sensor was quite surprising, given that larger sensors are usually able to capture better light. However, Vivo has made a similar approach to the X200 Pro launched last month, where the 1-inch Sony IMX 989 sensor on the X100 Pro was replaced with a slightly smaller sensor measuring 1/1.28 inches.
Vivo claims that these changes do not reduce image quality and can even provide better performance in certain situations.

To date, a number of reviewers from technology reviewers, including Ben Gadget, have shown that the image quality of the X200 Pro has not decreased significantly. It is estimated that Vivo will implement a similar move on the X200 Ultra.
In addition to the main camera, the leak also states that the Vivo X200 Ultra will come with a triple camera configuration, including a 200MP telephoto lens with a large 1.4-inch sensor and a 50MP ultrawide lens. The phone is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, although Vivo has not officially confirmed yet.
Meanwhile, other variants of the X200 series such as the X200, X200 Pro, and X200 Pro Mini have been launched earlier with the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset. In addition, the Vivo X200 Ultra is also likely to maintain satellite connectivity features such as its predecessor.
