Apple Releases Cut Pro 11 Finals And Logic Pro Updates For Macs, Presents New AI Features And Integration
JAKARTA Apple has launched the Final Cut Pro 11 for macOS along with major updates to the Logic Pro. This professional app is now coming with a variety of new features that take advantage of artificial intelligence (AI) technology and integration with Apple Silicon hardware, bringing a significant improvement to content creators.
Updates in the Cut Pro 11 Final include some of the most requested features, including Magnetic Mask which allows users to separate people or objects from video clips without the need to use a green screen or rotoscoping process.
This feature is ideal for background and environmental customization in video. The Transcribe to Captions feature uses Apple-trained AI models to automatically create closed text from audio in video, improve accessibility and editing efficiency.
The Cut Pro 11 final also supports Video Spatial editing, which allows users to import spatial videos from the iPhone 15 Pro, devices from the latest iPhone 16 series, or Canon cameras. Users can make color corrections, add effects, and enrich projects with additional titles.
In addition, spatial videos can be edited on Apple Vision Pro devices via the Virtual Display Mac feature, allowing users to save videos in the Photo app and share them via Vimeo on VisionOS.
The latest version of the Cut Pro Final for the iPad, which is version 2.1, is also updated with new features such as Enhance Light and Color, which can improve color quality, contrast, and brightness with just one step. There are also four new inks on the Live Drawing feature to add animation, as well as haptic feedback support through Apple Pencil Pro and Magic Keyboard.
