His Account Was Burglarized, Ticketmaster Customers Lost Concert Tickets
JAKARTA Ticketmaster, the world's largest ticket distributor, has faced security concerns in recent months. After experiencing data leakage, the Ticketmaster platform is now being hacked by hackers.
According to a Business Insider report, a number of Ticketmaster subscribers revealed that hackers managed to log into their accounts. These hackers not only enter into accounts forcibly, but also transfer tickets that users have purchased.
One of the victims who reported this loss was Vashti-Jasmine McKenzie. Last September, Mckenzie realized that the event she was supposed to attend was missing from Google Calendar. This event is a Usher concert to be held in Dallas.
After realizing that the event was missing from Google Calendar which was integrated with Ticketmaster, McKenzie immediately checked his email application. Apparently, someone has entered into his account and transferred the two tickets he previously bought.
McKenzie managed to get his ticket back thanks to Ticketmaster service. Unfortunately, not all customers are as lucky as McKenzie. There are ticket buyers who realize that their tickets have been stolen after arriving at the concert venue.

It is not known for sure how many victims broke into this account. However, many complaints continue to appear on Reddit. Until now, it is not known how hackers can log into the user's account and steal their tickets for resale.
With the virtual problem of ticket laundering, Ticketmaster cases are increasing. Last May, Live Nation, which is the parent company of Ticketmaster, was sued by the Department of Justice on antitrust charges.
Ticketmaster is also often criticized by its customers for poor ticket sales handling. Unfortunately, there is no other option for customers to switch distributors. If their favorite artist holds a concert and tickets are sold only by Ticketmaster, then there is no choice but to buy them.
