YouTube Increases Premium Package Prices In More Countries
JAKARTA A few months ago, YouTube announced that it would increase the price of Premium packages starting November. However, this increase in subscription prices only occurred in a number of countries.
For some countries, and some special users, YouTube is still implementing the old price to date. Although the price has not increased, YouTube will set a more expensive Premium package in the near future.
For old YouTube Premium subscribers from Google Play Music or YouTube Red app services that have been discontinued several years ago, they will get price increases starting January next year.
They have to pay USD 13.99 (IDR 219 thousand) per month like the majority of other subscribers, according to The Verge report. Meanwhile, YouTube Music users in Europe revealed that they got emails from YouTube.
