US-England Launches Air Strike Targeting Houthi Weapons Facility In Yemen
JAKARTA - United States (US) warplanes launched airstrikes on a number of state-of-the-art Houthi weapons storage facilities in Yemen.
Based on information obtained by AFP from the Pentagon, the US is targeting weapons facilities used by the Houthis to attack pro-Israelian ships sailing in the Red Sea and Aden Bay.
The Houthi-run Al Masirah television network reported that US and UK attacks targeted three points in the Al Sabeen district, south of the capital Sanaa.
"Witnesses said they heard strong gunshots, accompanied by explosions in various parts of the capital Sanaa," Al Masirah said, quoted from AFP, Sunday, November 10.

The US and UK have repeatedly attacked Houthi facilities in Yemen since January 2024. The attack was in response to the Houthi attack on ship shipments in the Red Sea and Aden Bay.
The Houthis said the attack had disrupted maritime traffic on important waterways globally, targeting ships linked to Israel and intended to signal solidarity with the Palestinians during the Gaza war.
This Houthi attack seriously disrupted the Red Sea route which carries 12 percent of global trade.
Recorded from more than 100 Houthi attacks over the past nearly a year, four sailors have been killed and two ships have sunk, while one ship and its crew have been detained since being hijacked last November.
