Vice President Gibran Asks Regional Heads To Prevent Budget Leaks
JAKARTA - Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka asked regional heads to take serious action regarding the implementation of the Munitoring Center for Prevention (MCP) of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).
"So this MCP is one of the indicators of the KPK. This needs to be taken seriously," said Vice President Gibran in his direction when closing the 2024 Central Government and Regional Government National Coordination Meeting at Sentul International Convention Center (SICC), Bogor, West Java, as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, November 7.
Vice President Gibran stressed that President Prabowo Subianto had given directions regarding the prevention of corruption and closed budget leaks.
To note, the Minitoring Center for Prevention (MCP) has an important role as a crucial internal control tool in efforts to eradicate corruption in the regions.
MCP has a strategic role in controlling and preventing potential corruption. By continuously monitoring and evaluating, MCP helps ensure good governance in government
In addition, Vice President Gibran also asked all elements of the Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda) throughout Indonesia to be united and eliminate sectoral egos to make development a success.
"We have to be compact, there is no more sectoral ego. Forkopimda must be compact, especially regional heads must also be united with the regencies, surrounding cities. Once again, ladies and gentlemen, I will underline it," said Vice President Gibran.
