Carry Out Ingub, Police Seal 38 Illegal Alcohol Stores In DIY
Yogyakarta Special Region Police (Polda DIY) sealed 38 shops or outlets selling illegal liquor (alcohol) in a number of areas in this province.

Previously, Yogyakarta Governor Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono X had issued Governor's Instruction (Ingub) Number 5 of 2024 concerning Optimization of Control and Supervision of Alcoholic Drinks.
According to Sultan, the ups aimed at the regent/mayor are indeed firm. However, it cannot be the basis for imposing sanctions.

The Sultan confirmed that he would carry out monitoring related to the implementation of the instruction while waiting for reports from regents and mayors in DIY.
"That has the authority to the regent and mayor, not the province. I can only assess the coming week. Later, there will be a report after a week of instructions are issued. The regent and mayor must provide a report," said Sultan.
