Meeting In Solo, Ridwan Kamil Invites Jokowi To Become A Jakarta Pilkada Campaigner?
SOLO - Candidate for governor of Jakarta number 1, Ridwan Kamil met with the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi) in Solo, Central Java, Friday 1 November.

"I came as a person who used to help Pak Jokowi," said the Jakarta governor candidate number one Ridwan Kamil.

At the meeting, Ridwan asked a lot about Jokowi's experience while still leading as Governor of DKI Jakarta.
"Pak Jokowi used to be the Governor of DKI Jakarta too. Of course he provided me with regard to Jakarta and its future, 90 percent of this advice for me who are still young is to be better and achieve better," he said.
The direction given by Jokowi to Ridwan is the principle of building a city that must be fair, become a pancasilaist leader, and embrace everyone.
"So leaders who must understand the challenges of the future that may be in the next five years are different from what. I learned from Pak Jokowi's example when he was governor," he said.

Asked about the invitation to Jokowi to participate in campaigning for himself, he admitted that there had been no discussion.
"It hasn't gotten there yet, if there is hope, of course, but I just follow how good he is," he said.
On that occasion, Jokowi said Ridwan Kamil had experience as Governor of West Java Province.
"So I know him well, the second is a discussion about planning Jakarta, big ideas about Jakarta. I think everything is very clear," he said.
Regarding the request to become a campaign interpreter for a number of regional head candidates who are currently contesting the regional elections this time, he said he had not decided yet.
"It is in the process to be decided. Yes, it will be decided as it progresses," he said.
