Extreme Weather In Bogor, BPBD Records 6 Damaged Houses And 7 Fallen Trees In A Day

The Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Bogor City, recorded seven incidents of fallen trees in its area from October 31 to Friday November 1 in the morning.

Head of BPBD Bogor City Hidayatulloh said the seven incidents of fallen trees also included a broken branching incident. Currently, all incidents have been assessed and handled by joint officers.

In addition to fallen trees and broken branches, he said, on the same day there was also a house whose roof was carried away by strong winds in Ciparigi Village, North Bogor District.

Meanwhile, in West Bogor District, a house was affected by a fire in Sindangbarang Village.

"So that in total there are nine natural and non-natural disasters on Thursday," he said.

As a result of the nine incidents, Hidayatulloh said, nine heads of families contained 30 affected people. Including four motorbikes were also affected.

In addition, he said, a total of six houses were damaged. With details of four lightly damaged units, one unit moderately damaged, and one heavily damaged.

"We have made appeals and coordination of the emergency department together with related parties, and carried out emergency handling, as well as providing emergency assistance to the affected parties," he said.
