Police Will Recruit 600 New Members To Manage Prabowo-Gibran's Free Food Program
JAKARTA - The National Police will recruit 600 new personnel to succeed in the free meal program launched by the President and Vice President Prabowo-Gibran.
National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo has given directions to all his staff to support the Asta Cita program.
"The plan is to recruit 600 people, both from Bakomsus and from SIPS," said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Inspector General Shandi Nugroho to reporters, Wednesday, October 30.
Bakomsus is a special competency non-commissioned officer who has expertise in agriculture.
In the recruitment process, said Shandi, the National Police through AS HR has collaborated with other relevant ministries of education and stakeholders.
"We have also collaborated with the Minister of Education and Culture and other stakeholders to find out how many SMK-SMK agriculture in Indonesia, how many provinces, both related to agricultural masalah and nutritionist problems, have been prepared by US human resources," he said.
The plan is for the National Police to start the recruitment process at the end of 2024. Later, the best members will be looking for who can become personnel of the Bhyangkara Corps in the field of food and nutrition security.
"The kick-off plan will be submitted this November to be socialized and then in the month of December, recruitment has started to be able to get the best candidates to manned for food security as well as for expertise problems in the nutrition sector," said Shandi.

Regarding the task of Bakomsus, they will cooperate with other stakeholders to prepare vegetable and fruit planting land to fulfill free food for the community.
"Collaborating to fulfill free lunch in accordance with existing nutritional standards. That's why it takes police who understand it, so that they can collaborate as well as possible," said Shandi.
