Reasons For The Attorney General's Office To Search Zarof Ricar's House Again
The Attorney General's Office (AGO) has again conducted the house of former Supreme Court (MA) official Zarof Ricar, who is also a suspect in the alleged bribery case of Gregorius Ronald Tannur's acquittal, on Tuesday, October 29. The reason is to ensure that no evidence is left behind.
"Well, yesterday investigators wanted to confirm whether there was something left behind there. That's what we want to make sure," said the Head of the AGO, Harli Siregar, to reporters, Wednesday, October 30.
The results of the search, it has been confirmed that there are no evidence or clues left at the house on Jalan Senayan Number 8, West Rawa, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta.
However, regarding the possibility of new evidence confiscated during the search, Harli could not confirm it. It is only stated that the confiscation could be carried out again because the investigation process is still developing.
"Yesterday we asked, no one was left behind but it continued to grow, we'll see," said Harli.
Meanwhile, in the previous search, investigators confiscated various foreign currencies, which when converted to rupiah reached almost Rp1 trillion.
The Director of Investigation of the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) at the Attorney General's Office (Kejagung), Abdul Qohar, said that 51 kilograms of gold was also found at the house of the former MA official.
