Police Examine 20 Witnesses In The Rape Case Of Brothers And Sisters In Purworejo
Central Java Regional Police investigators have examined as many as 20 witnesses in the investigation into the alleged rape of brothers and sisters with the initials K (17) and D (15) in Purworejo Regency.
The Head of Public Relations of the Central Java Police, Kombes Artanto, said that the examination of the witnesses was carried out for two separate cases.
The witnesses examined included the victim, the victim's family, the reporter, and village officials who had mediated the victim and the perpetrator's family.
According to Artanto, until now no suspect has been named in the alleged rape case of the brothers.
"The witness examination is still being carried out to investigate who the suspect is," he said.

In addition, investigators have also conducted DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) tests on the baby who was born to the victim due to the rape crime.
"The DNA test by Bidlabfor Polda Central Java is to find out who the father of the baby was born to the victim," he added.
The alleged rape of the brothers and sisters in Purworejo Regency occurred in 2023.
The case was not reported to the police because the victim's family and the perpetrator resolved the case amicably facilitated by the local village government.
