Former Leader Gives Input To KPK To Support Prabowo's Steps To Eradicate Corruption
JAKARTA - The former head of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) visited the KPK's Red and White building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta. They met the current leadership to provide input in an effort to support President Prabowo Subianto's desire to eradicate corruption.
"So we are (present, ed) in order to (provide, ed) inputs for strengthening the future KPK," said former Deputy Chairperson of the KPK, Basaria Pandjaitan, to reporters, Monday, October 28.
Basaria said Prabowo was a person who cared about eradicating corruption. "So we talked about what we will give him input," he said.

As for the meeting, Basaria said that the KPK's Temporary Chairperson Nawawi Pomolango was present along with his two representatives, Alexander Marwata and Nurul Ghufron.
Meanwhile, there were also former leaders who attended apart from Basaria, Agus Rahardjo, Saut Situmorang, to Laode M. Syarif. "We provide input to the next KPK, they will have to be stronger, more compact," said Basaria.
"You have to support the statement from our president, Mr. Prabowo, who stated that he will eradicate corruption wherever he will be pursued. So they must be ready. Broadly speaking, "he concluded.
