Maribou State KembaliI Steps On Gas After Its Personnel Recover From Brain Disease
JAKARTA - Maribou State has just released their latest musical work entitled "Bloom" on October 28. The song was performed with the rising Sudanese-Dutch singer and songwriter, Gaidaa.
A piece of Maribou State's trademark with a distinctive guitar strain, the color of the drum boom that smoothly lifts the old-age feel, and the perfect vocals of Gaidaa. "Bloom" is the second single from their upcoming album Hallucinating Love which has been long awaited and will finally be released on January 31, 2025 via Ninja Tune.
Along with the release of this single and due to the extraordinary response on both dates that were immediately sold out within hours Maribou State announced an additional date for their performance at Alexandra Palace, London with a capacity of 10,000+. Following this performance is a massive tour on the North American continent which will run throughout the spring of 2025, making it their first full-band live appearance in 6 years on the continent.

These upcoming appearances will be a fun and memorable moment for Maribou State, which has only recently started to return to the studio and train full-time after personnel Chris Davids had to undergo major surgery early in the year for the rare brain conditions he was facing.
The Bloom comes shortly after their latest single "Otherside" which is the result of a collaboration with Holly Walker, who gets great support from being like Pitchfork, NME, Clash, The Line of Best Fit and Mixmag media.
Currently, the single continues to be played in the BBC 6 Music playlist, and receives BBC Radio 1 and 6 support from key supporters such as Jack Saunders, Pete Tong, Mary Ann airing, Lauren Laverne, Danny Howard and Sian Elleri who gave him R1's 'Chillest Record' in the single week was released.
