War Begins! Israel Attacks Iran This Morning, Explosions Sound In Tehran
JAKARTA - Israel launched a retaliatory attack on Iran this morning. The attack was reportedly right on the military's target in Iran.
Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said the attack was a response to Iran, which has relentlessly attacked Israel since October 7, 2023. including direct attacks from Iran.
"Like other sovereign countries in the world, the State of Israel has the right and obligation to respond," the IDF said.
The IDF also warns its defense and offensive capabilities have been fully deployed.
The Tasnim semi-official news agency reported several explosions heard west of the Iranian capital.
Several explosions were heard in Tehran on Saturday morning local time, according to Iran Fars' semi-official news agency.
