Telkomsel Holds NextDev Again With AI Curriculum
JAKARTA - Telkomsel has again presented an impact startup incubator NextDev program, as an effort to strengthen the foundation of the early-stage startup in Indonesia so that it can develop and have a positive impact on a sustainable basis.
"Telkomsel, through the NextDev incubator impact startup program, has and continues to expand access for digital startups in Indonesia to develop their capabilities," said Telkomsel VP Corporate Communications & Social Responsibility, Saki H. Bramono.
This 10th NextDev series presents a number of innovations, such as the NextDev Academy curriculum, which this year is reinforced by the latest AI technology integration curriculum to boost capabilities, business ethics, and impact innovation.
There is also collaboration with the International Hub Connector to expand global opportunities for participant startups. In addition, a series of the best alumni of the previous program and will also be present as co-ministers in Startups Scouting and Summit, to provide direct guidance to participants.
In a statement on its official website, Telkomsel said that in the 10th NextDev series, registration for Startups Scouting was opened online on October 24 - November 30, 2024.
During this period, Open Session will take place in four locations, starting from Bandung (24 October), Makassar (7 November), Batam (14 November), to Bali (21 November).

In each of these locations there will also be a Local Pitch session to gain direct access to the top 24 of the competition. In early 2025, the top 10 startups of the three main categories - Productivity Enhancement, Emerging Technologies, and Digital Lifestyle - will be selected to take part in the NextDev Academy for four months.
The highlight of this program is NextDev Summit, an award platform for the best startup as well as a discussion and collaboration event for players of the national and global digital ecosystem.
This event will bring together alumni, startups enthusiast, and innovation ecosystems to expand the network and encourage the advancement of digital solutions that have a sustainable positive impact.
