Apple Watch Presents Sleep Apnea Feature In Canada
JAKARTA Last September, Apple launched the Sleep Apnea detection feature on some of its smartwatch models, but this feature is not available across the country. Now, Canada has entered the list.
Sleep Apnea is not available across the country because regulators need approval so the feature is a little late in Canada. After applying for permission, Apple finally got approval to provide the feature on compatible devices.
Reporting from 9to5mac, the Sleep Apnea feature was approved by Health Canada last September, but features were only released on Wednesday, October 23 for Apple Watch Series 9, Apple Watch Ultra 2, and Apple Watch Series 10.
Sleep Apnea is designed specifically for the three devices. However, this feature will not be available if the user does not update his watch to the watchOS 11. Connected devices must also run iOS 18 or a newer version.

Sleep Apnea is a feature that uses accelerometers to detect respiratory problems while sleeping. When suffering from this disorder, users can potentially experience decreased oxygen levels, heart disease, depression, and many more.
Apple says that sleep is the most important part of a person's physical and mental health. If the sleep pattern is not maintained, sleep apnea can attack anyone because this disease has attacked more than 1 billion users worldwide.
Apple Watch presents this feature because the majority of people do not realize that they have sleep apnea problems. By analyzing respiratory data every 30 days, this feature will notify users if any signs of sleep apnea appear.
