JAKARTA - A robber was arrested by the masses on Jalan Pahlawan Revolution, Pondok Bambu, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta, Thursday, October 24, afternoon.
The arrest of the robber by local residents took place dramatically. The perpetrator did not move and was battered in the face as a result of being beaten.
From the information from the online motorcycle taxi driver (ojol), the perpetrator riding a motorbike came from the direction of BKT (East Flood Canal). Behind the motorbike driven by the perpetrator, there was another driver who chased while shouting snatch.
"The motorbike of the perpetrator fell into the crowd. But those who brought the motorbike again managed to escape, while the other perpetrators who were riding were caught by residents and other motorists," said Andri, an ojol driver to VOI at the scene, Thursday, October 24.

When arrested, the perpetrator dodged. However, because many witnesses saw the theft incident, the perpetrator was immediately beaten by the mob until he was battered.
"I was beaten in the middle of the road. Then taken to the side of here, in front of the shop," he said.
