After Heart Surgery, Harvey Weinstein Diagnostics Of Bone Sumum Cancer

JAKARTA - Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein was diagnosed with bone cord cancer related to chronic Myeloidary cancer. NBC as the first to report Weinstein undergoing treatment at a prison in Riskers Island, New York.

"Crig Rothfeld, the official health care legal representative of Mr. Weinstein in New York, expressed disappointment over the speculation of Weinstein's medical condition," said JudaIGelmayer, Weinstein's spokesman, citing Variety.

"It is very disturbing and unacceptable that such personal and secret health issues become public talks. To respect Weinstein's privacy, we will not provide further comment," he said.

He was last seen in public during a hearing in Manhattan last September. His first appearance after undergoing heart surgery. He was seen in a wheelchair surrounded by security forces and pleaded not guilty to alleged sex crimes.

Harvey Weinstein has faced reports of a number of sexual crimes since October 2017. He was found guilty in 2020 of a third-degree rape case and the jury ruled he was sentenced to 23 years in prison.

Weinstein's appeal was granted by the court in August 2022 in New York. His lawyer, Arthur Aidala, claims the producer almost died after heart surgery and was undergoing treatment for diabetes.

He also had experienced COVID-19 and pneumonia twice while in hospital. The court had dropped a guilty verdict against Weinstein over a rape case in 2020 for allowing three additional plaintiffs on self-made charges.

The court canceled and ordered a retrial that was just set in November and was only held in early 2025.

Harvey Weinstein continues to deny he attacked or raped anyone during the case.
