Minister Of Home Affairs Tito Prioritizes Pilkada 2024 And Digitization On 100 Working Days

JAKARTA - Minister of Home Affairs (Mendagri) Tito Karnavian stated that during 100 working days since taking office, he will prioritize the implementation of the 2024 Simultaneous Pilkada to digitalization according to President Prabowo Subianto's Astacita program.

"The main thing is the regional election. That is the most important because the leadership of the government is the Ministry of Home Affairs. We fully concentrate on the regional elections there," Tito said after welcoming two new deputy ministers at the Office of the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri), Jakarta, Tuesday, October 22, which was confiscated by Antara.

Then continue the coordination meeting for controlling regional inflation which is held every week since September 2022.

Tito said the program would stop if President Prabowo Subianto wanted it.

Then, the Ministry of Home Affairs will always check prices in the field regularly. This is because Tito has two deputy ministers who can share their duties to the regions.

Furthermore, the Ministry of Home Affairs will support downstream programs, industrialization to food security.

The Minister of Home Affairs did not deny that the burden was on the Ministry of Home Affairs. Even so, it is still very related to the local government as a coach, supervisor, and coordinator.

"This will be parallel to the technical ministry, the food ministry and so on to deal with food problems," he explained.

President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated Tito Karnavian as Minister of Home Affairs at the State Palace, Jakarta, Monday, October 21. This inauguration has confirmed Tito Karnavian as Minister of Home Affairs for two terms.
