Gavi Returns To The Field Emotionally After 11 Months Of Injury
JAKARTA - Gavi returned to play when Barcelona won a landslide victory over Sevilla 5-1 at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys on Monday, October 21, 2024, WIB.

"I'm happy with this result and especially for Gavi. It's amazing when you look at the atmosphere in the stadium and the fans. It's goosebumps, can't be trusted, and I like this," Flick said after the match.
Hansi Flick further had no problem with Gavi's playing style which had not returned due to his injury.
The German manager believes Gavi will rise and face challenges.
"The intensity he gave in the game when he entered was good. However, that's natural, that's how he plays."
"Sometimes it's okay to be calmer, but it's not his style of play," Flick said.
Meanwhile, Gavi said he was happy to be back. He thanked his teammates and fans for their support.
The midfielder said his rest time had helped him appreciate how lucky he was.
"I've been dreaming of this for months. I thank my teammates for making the process easier for me."
"The hardest thing is not playing, watching from the outside. It's frustrating, it's difficult. You have to enjoy every moment and (rest time) lets you appreciate the things you have. I feel lucky to be back."
"I miss playing football the most, this is my life, that's what I always do."
"When all the fans and teammates like you and give a speech like that, you feel very lucky," Gavi said.
