Putin-UAE Dinner Diplomacy In Moscow Before Discussing Middle East Situation

JAKARTA - President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan attended a dinner organized by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Citing state news agency WAM via Arab News, Monday, October 21, this dinner diplomacy was held at the Novo-Ogaryovo Presidential residence in Moscow on Sunday, October 20.

During the meeting, Sheikh Mohamed expressed his gratitude to Putin for his ongoing efforts in strengthening the UAE-Russia relationship.

Sheikh Mohamed also expressed his hope for the prosperity of Russia.

Putin also welcomed this visit by praising Sheikh Mohamed's role in improving bilateral relations and lifting it into a UAE-Russia strategic partnership.

The Russian Presidential Site said Sheikh Mohamed's official visit to Russia began on October 21.

Sheikh Mohamed and Putin are planned to discuss the current situation and future developments of Russia-UAE multiphase cooperation as well as the latest international issues, particularly the situation in the Middle East and North Africa.
