Officially Held, Jakarta Fashion Week 2025 Lifts Future Fusion Theme
JAKARTA - Jakarta Fashion Week (JFW) 2025 officially opened at Pondok Indah Mall 3, Jakarta on Monday, October 21, 2024. This event took place on October 21-27, 2024. In the 17th edition, Jakarta Fashion Week 2025 featured works from more than 120 designers and fashion houses in 34 fashion shows.
"JFW is 17th year. It is an honor to be able to carry out, play a role that develops Indonesian fashion," said JFW 2025 Leader, Svida Alisjahbana at the JFW 2025 press conference, when met at PIM 3, Jakarta on Monday, October 21, 2024.
This year, this prestigious fashion week has the theme Future Fusion: Tradition Meets Innovation, which means highlighting the wealth of traditional archipelago wastra and encouraging designers to integrate local culture into works. He emphasized the importance of lifting Indonesia's cultural heritage through technology and innovation in fashion.
"Our cultural heritage is extraordinary. With our technology, both in weaving, coloring, and pattern making, we can bring our aircraft from the past to the future," he said.

Meanwhile, Anindika Surasetja, Creative Director of Jakarta Fashion Week 2025 said more than 120 model designers present at JFW 2025 will feature collaborations with travelers from all over the world.
"This year Jakarta Fashion Week will feature more than 120 model designers," said Anindika Surasetja.
"Of course the most interesting thing about Jakarta Fashion Week is this is a celebration of the royal process. Where there is an extraordinary collaboration between model travelers and even actors in the world's intraclusive industries." he continued.
This year's event features more than 120 leading fashion designers and homes, including Faisal Odang, Jan Sober, and Christian Panarese, in 34 fashion shows that have been curated objectively. Jakarta Fashion Week 2025 will also bring new fashion designers who won the Fashion Force competition.
