Getting To Know Polytraumatics, Liam Payne's Cause Of Death Revealed Autopsy Results
The cause of death of former One Direction member Liam Payne was revealed through the latest autopsy results. Previously, Liam Payne died after falling from the balcony of a third-floor room at a hotel in Argentina, on October 16, 2024.
Liam Payne died of a polymer trauma, based on the results of an autopsy issued by the Argentine National Prosecutor's Office, reported by Today, on Sunday, October 20, 2024. Apart from the trauma, Liam also suffered internal and external bleeding.
For those who do not know, citing The National Library of Medicine, polytraumatics is a condition characterized by several injuries that cause significant to life-threatening defects. This condition is also referred to as many traumatic injuries to the body.
Polytraumatics can affect many organs and systems in the body at once. Common causes of polytraumatics are car accidents, suicide attempts, to murder.
Research shows that death from polytraumatics can occur immediately after injury, or moments later. However, in some cases death from polytraumatics takes longer.

Meanwhile, in the polymer trauma case Liam Payne himself found a total of 25 injuries to his body due to falling from a height. He suffered brain and skull injuries, which are strongly suspected to be the main cause of his death.
