Instead of using the name of the Ministry of Communication and Information, Prabowo seems to have changed the name of the Ministry of Communication and Information to the Ministry of Communication and Digital in his new cabinet.
The appointment of female politicians from the Golkar Party as Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs is not surprising.
The reason is, before his term of office expired, former Minister of Communication and Information Budi Arie Setiadi had leaked the name of his replacement Minister, namely Meutya Hafid.
Meanwhile, former Minister of Communication and Information Budi Arie Setiadi will switch duties to become Minister of Cooperatives in the ranks of the Red and White Cabinet during Prabowo - Gibran's tenure in 2024 - 2029.
In his interview with the media, the former Chairman of Commission I of the DPR RI mentioned several homeworks (PR) that Budi Arie had entrusted to him in the next five years.

In carrying out his new task, Meutya Hafid will be accompanied by two Deputy Ministers of Communication and Digital which is the same as the previous period, namely Nezar Patria and also Angga Raka Prabowo.
