Only A Month, Jessi Breaks Contract With The Agency After The Attack Case

Jessi ended her exclusive contract with her new agency, DOD after a month of joining. This news relates to an attack case involving her name.

At the end of September, an incident occurred where Jessi's fans asked Jessi for a photo but she got an attack from someone beside Jessi in the Gangnam area, Seoul. Jessi had time to stop the attack but chose to leave the scene.

Then this fan sued Jessi and the people. Jessi admitted that she did not know the person who attacked her fans. Jessi answered the police summons on October 16 yesterday.

After the case, an anonymous person also admitted to having received an attack from Jessi while at the Itaewon club. The DOD agency released a statement of termination of the contract because of the ongoing case.

"After discussing his activities, we decided to terminate the exclusive contract with Jessi as of October 18, 2024 according to the request (Jessi) and carefully considered," said DOD.

"Even though the time is short, we thank Jessi for the time and wish her all the best in the future. Thank you," concluded the agency.

Previously, Jessi terminated her exclusive contract with Jay Park's agency, MORE VISION within 9 months. Jessi emphasized that she and Jay Park had no conflict.

Then, Jessi joined the DOD and set up her own label, which was named UNNI.
