Salesforce Report: AI Generatively Becomes A Priority 82 Percent Executive In Indonesia

JAKARTA - The latest research from Salesforce, which involves 207 large-scale company leaders in Indonesia, revealed that AI is one of the top three business priorities for 82 percent of company executives or C-Suite.

In this report, 50 percent of respondents said they already had a clear generative AI strategy, while another 42 percent said they were formulating a generating AI strategy for their business.

In addition to the potential for increased productivity and innovation in customer service, this report shows where the application of generating AI can be used to face significant challenges, especially related to data management.

In fact, 93 percent of respondents acknowledged these obstacles, including data accessibility issues, AI output inaccuracies, and high implementation costs.

Furthermore, C-Suite in Indonesia said, there are at least three key factors that encourage the adoption of a generating AI, including customer experience and innovative employees to the market (49 percent), customer expectations for the appointment of a faster and more personalized service experience (46 percent), and the need for employees to use a generalized AI tool (42 percent).

Then, the C-Suite in Indonesia are very optimistic about the integration of AI technology to be creative in their business, and they are also taking concrete actions so that this step is successful.

As many as 25 percent of respondents said that it was the CEOs who played the most role in the success of a generating AI integration as well as team empowerment, followed by CIO/CTO (23 percent) and department heads (17 percent) in the company.
