Dor! 2 Recidivists Of Livestock Theft In East Lombok Escape Police
The police shot two cattle thieves in East Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) with the initials AM (42) and MA (50) while fleeing when they were about to be arrested.
AM is a resident of Lenek Village, Lenek District, and MA a resident of Bagik Payung Village, Suralaga District. Both are recidivist cases of theft of livestock
"It was forced to be rewarded with hot lead, because they tried to escape during the arrest," said Deputy Head of East Lombok Police, Kompol Radita Suharta during a press conference in East Lombok, Wednesday, October 16, which was confiscated by Antara.
He said the two recidivists were arrested in connection with the actions carried out at the two crime scenes, namely in the new Lenek and Suralaga areas.
AM and MA carried out their actions along with six other perpetrators, two people were arrested along with both recidivists, and two people on the People's Wanted List (DPO).
"The four perpetrators are now languishing in the detention cell of the East Lombok Police to undergo the legal process," he said.

According to him, in carrying out the action, the perpetrators came to the victim's cattle coop by destroying the cage, and removing four cows from the cage.
Meanwhile, at the second TKP, the perpetrators carried out their actions by going to the TKP and pretending to be coconut seekers, after which the two cows belonging to the victim were successfully removed from the cage.
Based on reports from the victims, the officers immediately gave chase and the perpetrators were arrested by the East Lombok Police Buser Team.
Two perpetrators, who are recidivists, were rewarded with hot lead, for trying to escape when the arrests were made.
"In this case there are six perpetrators, one person as the main actor, four perpetrators are categorized as bad help and in carrying out their actions," he said.
Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the East Lombok Police, AKP I Mada Darma Yulian Putra, added that of the six cows stolen, four were arrested, while the other two had been cut by the perpetrators.
"The cow has been returned to the owner. Meanwhile, the perpetrator was put in a detention cell to undergo the legal process to account for his actions," he said.
