Ridwan Kamil Will Make BKT An Inspiration For Tree Planting In Jakarta

JAKARTA - Jakarta Governor Candidate (Cagub) Ridwan Kamil said he would make the East Flood Canal (BKT) an inspiration in the tree planting program in the Jakarta area.

Because according to him, the environment in the BKT area, East Jakarta has many large trees, so it becomes a comfortable and cool city.

"In the next three years, the vision and mission will plant as many trees as possible so that it stays at the level of pedestrians in addition to being cool and making the second calm absorbs pollution, so that's the inspiration," said Ridwan Kamil to Duren Sawit residents, East Jakarta, Sunday, October 13.

The former Governor of West Java (Jabar) will emphasize the motive for planting three million trees in the Jakarta area. Because for him, the number of trees will reduce the police in the Jakarta area.

In addition, he also highlighted the shallowness of the BKT river which was due to no routine dredging. Therefore, he promised that if elected, he would re-perfect the standard operating procedure (SOP), so that it could be dredged again.

"The BKT should have gone deeper, later we will be perfect, right, the SOP," he said
