D'Masiv Presents Melancholis Songs At The North Maluku Literacy Festival

JAKARTA - Known for its melancholic songs, D'Masiv succeeded in making the atmosphere of syahdu when it appeared at the peak night of the North Maluku Literacy Festival on Saturday, October 12 night. Located at the Sofifi Roundabout, the event was attended by thousands of residents who were waiting for Rian et al's action.

At the 2024 Literacy Festival Peak, the Archives and Library Service presented Rian D'Masiv and his friends who hypnotized thousands of North Maluku residents with 11 mainstay songs.

Launching ANTARA, several hits were performed such as "Don't Give Up", "This Love Kills Me" and "Love Until Here", making North Maluku residents swept away in the melancholic strain of the song.

In the middle of the event, Rian D'Masiv specifically invited an honorary guest, namely the Acting Governor and his wife, the Head of the Archives and Library Service and his wife to go on stage and perform the song Happy Birthday as well as a special offering for the 25th Anniversary of North Maluku Province.

In his remarks, the Acting Governor hoped that this Literacy Festival could be carried out sustainably as a manifestation of the North Maluku Provincial Government in the context of learning efforts and developing community potential, especially children who can be used for future life skills.

Head of the North Maluku Province Archives and Library Service, Muliadi Tutupoho, was contacted on Sunday, saying that the main purpose of holding a literacy festival was as a means of increasing the Community Literacy Development Index (IPLM) in North Maluku.

The Literacy Festival is part of the celebration of the 25th anniversary of North Maluku Province. This activity will take place from 7th and peak on October 11, 2024.

"The North Maluku Community Literacy Development Index in 2023 recorded 65 points, still slightly below the National Literacy Development Index of 66.77, hopefully next year the North Maluku Community Literacy Development Index will be far above the national average," he hoped.

For this reason, his party appreciates the ranks of the Archives and Library Office for holding the Literacy Festival until this Peak Night, which was opened by Acting Governor Samsuddin Abdul Kadir.

"By taking the theme 'North Maluku, Smart and Empowered Towards a Golden Indonesia' is an adaptive and realistic theme to increase public interest, especially children, to like to read," said Samsuddin.

In the event, awards were also given to the winner of the literacy competition, including the Fish Bakr Competition, Literacy Gymnastics, Spice Competition, Certified Competition and ASN who had succeeded in writing books.
