Chandra Shipping International And Pertamina International Shipping Synergize To Increase Efficiency And Global Reach
JAKARTA - A subsidiary of PT Chandra Daya Investasi (CDI) in the field of Shipping and Logistics, PT Chandra Shipping International (CSI), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore the feasibility study of the potential for cooperation in the field of chemistry, minimization and transportation or other sea transportation logistics together with PT Pertamina International Shipping (PIS). The potential for strategic cooperation is expected to identify opportunities to increase efficiency, sustainability and global reach in sea transportation and sea transportation logistics.
CSI is a subsidiary of the CDI, a company that Chandra Asri Group uses for infrastructure business development including energy, water, port and shipping. As part of the Chandra Asri Group, CSI is committed to becoming a growth partner in providing efficient and reliable marine transportation services to meet the needs of various industries.
The signing of the MoU was carried out by the President Director of CSI, Lingga Widastri and the Director of Gas, Petrokimia and Baru PIS Business, Arief Sukmara, witnessed by the Director of Supply Chain Chandra Asri Group, Ruly Aryawan and the Director of Risk Management of PIS, Muhamad Resa, in Jakarta on October 4, 2024.
The potential cooperation between the two companies is expected to increase service standards, especially sea transportation transportation transportation transportation and logistics for chemical products, benchmarks and other logistical transportation potentials within the global reach. In addition, this collaboration is also expected to help reduce environmental impacts through environmentally friendly technology.

The partnership also aims to increase cost effectiveness, expand access to emerging markets, and strengthen supply chain resilience.
