P21 Files, 5 Corruption Suspects For The Bima Transportation Ship Project Detained By The NTB Prosecutor's Office
A total of five suspects in the alleged corruption case in the procurement of four wooden ships for the Bima Regency Transportation Service (Dishub) project for the 2021 fiscal year were detained.
Spokesperson for the West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) Efrien Saputera said the five were detained after the case entered phase two or P21.
"So, after the second phase of the administrative process at the NTB Prosecutor's Office, we immediately detained five suspects who were handed over by police investigators at the West Lombok Prison," he said in Mataram, Thursday, October 10, which was confiscated by Antara.
Efrien said the five suspects who were detained were commitment maker I with the initials AB, commitment-making official II with the initials AM, planning consultant who is concurrently a supervisory consultant with the initials SA, project implementing director of CV Sarana Fiberindo Mandiri with the initials SAE, and recipient of project implementing power with the initials MA.
He said that one of the suspects with the initials SA was a defendant in a similar project in the 2019 fiscal year. Thus, SA's detention status is under the attorney's control.
"For the other four suspects, under the power of detention of the public prosecutor," he said.

Regarding the detention at the West Lombok Prison, Efrien stated that the move was to facilitate the trial process which will take place at the Corruption Court at the Mataram District Court.
"For the needs of the trial, the public prosecutor is now preparing the indictment file and administrative completeness as a condition for registration in court," he said.
In this case, it was revealed that there was a state financial loss of Rp. 777 million. The value of this loss came from the audit results of the calculation of state financial losses (PKKN) from the NTB Representative Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP).
The government project for the procurement of four wooden ships uses a budget of IDR 3.9 billion.
This project work was previously declared complete. However, the procurement, which came from the special allocation fund (DAK), appeared in the findings of the NTB Representative Audit Agency (BPK).
