Democrats Do Not Question PDIP Join The Prabowo Government Coalition

Chairman (Ketum) of the Democratic Party Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) admitted that his party did not question if the PDI-P (PDIP) joined the Prabowo-Gibran government coalition.

Because, he said, the Democratic Party is focused on carrying out the role that will be mandated in developing Indonesia in the next five years.

"If I myself have no other feelings because we only focus on efforts to carry out our roles, whatever roles will be given to us, the Democratic Party, to be able to oversee the government in the next five years," said AHY when met at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday, October 10, confiscated by Antara.

He then said, "Of course in politics it's all dynamic, yes, but once again I don't see this as something that makes us out of focus".

He admitted that he submitted the decision regarding the joining of PDIP into the upcoming government coalition to the elected president Prabowo Subianto.

"We just want to provide full support, we leave everything to the elected president," he said.

This is because he said that as the elected president, Prabowo Subianto, was the most aware of his needs in expressing his vision of building Indonesia for the next period.

"First, the one who knows the best in the future is what and of course what he wants to do to realize the vision of Advanced Indonesia as campaigned by Mr. Prabowo, yes, of course, he himself," he said.

He also emphasized that the Democratic Party wants togetherness in carrying out the role of building the nation.

"From the beginning of our commitment, the Democratic Party wanted to fight together, Alhamdulillah won together, and after that it filled in and carried out a good role together," he said.
