Police Station Attacked, French Antihuru-hara Police Move To Cavaillon

JAKARTA - France's antihuru-hara police will go to the southern city of Cavaillon, near Av fire. French Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau said the shift of personnel was carried out after the Cavaillon police station was attacked following an anti-drug trade operation.

France and other major European cities are trying to eradicate drug gangs and fatal shootings that often occur due to inter-geng wars.

In May, two prison guards were killed after gunmen ambushed a prison van to release drug dealer Mohamed Amra, known as 'The Fly'.

Meanwhile, Belgian authorities also blamed the gangs of Marseille as the party responsible for the spike in shootings in Brussels.

Retailleau also wants to show the new government of Prime Minister Michel Barnier taking a tough approach to violent crimes, after Retailleau was appointed interior minister in September.

"The French state will not be intimidated and we will intensify the battle against narcotics bandits," Retailleau said.
