KPK Opportunity To Force PT Integra Padma Mandiri Boss In The Presidential Social Assistance Case
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has the opportunity to forcibly pick up the Director of PT Integra Padma Mandiri, Budi Pamungkas. The reason is that he repeatedly missed the summons as a witness to the alleged corruption of COVID-19 social assistance (bansos) distributed by the president.
"Two witnesses on behalf of Budi Pamungkas, the private sector as Director of PT Integra Padma Mandiri were not present without information," said KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardika to reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Tuesday, October 8.
Budi's statement is said to be needed by the KPK to investigate allegations of social assistance corruption. That way, further steps will be taken.
"Investigators are considering forced measures to the person concerned," he said.

As previously reported, the KPK is investigating allegations of corruption in the procurement of presidential social assistance during the COVID-19 pandemic which was distributed in Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi (Jabodetabek) in 2020. There are already suspects named, namely Ivo Wongkaren who is the President Director of Mitra Energi Persada.
The actions of the suspect in this case, called the anti-corruption commission, made the state lose up to Rp250 billion. This figure can still increase because the calculation is still being carried out.
The procurement that was corrupted was called the KPK reaching 6 million packages. This figure is divided into three stages, namely, stages three, five, and six, the other reaching two million packages.
