Taiwan Excellence Happy Run Again Held With Meriah In Indonesia
JAKARTA - Taiwan Excellence Happy Run 2024 which was held at the Art Market, Ancol Dreamland Park, North Jakarta, was successfully held with great fanfare, Sunday, October 6.
The event, which has entered its 9th year, was held to strengthen relations between Taiwan and Indonesia. Continuing success from previous years, this event again shows Taiwan Excellence's strong appeal in Indonesia.
A total of 5,000 runner slots run out in just 10 minutes after registration opens, and 1,500 people on the waiting list are also filled in a short time.
This shows the great enthusiasm of the Indonesian people for Taiwan Excellence Happy Run.
The event aims to demonstrate the innovative competitiveness and value of Taiwan's superior products in the global market.
The Taiwan Excellence exhibition area features 49 flagship products from 20 Taiwan Excellence award-winning companies.
These products include various industries, ranging from consumer electronics, lifestyle, sports & recreation, to health.
Big companies such as Acer, PX, Victor, Horizon, and SYM participated in this exhibition. Their presence attracts many runners to visit and further deepens the understanding and interest of the Indonesian people in Taiwan-made products.
This event also collaborated with PT Bank CTBC Indonesia and local nonprofit organizations, Protect Forests, in holding tree planting activities.
These tree seeds will be planted in West Java as part of ecological conservation efforts. Taiwan Excellence demonstrates their commitment to environmental sustainability, which is in line with green sustainability policies.
Ambassador of Taipei Economic and Trade Office (TETO) in Indonesia, John C. Chen, was also present to encourage runners.
According to him, this event combines sports and social activities, and is very popular with the Indonesian people.
Most importantly, through this event they can promote the image and quality of Taiwan Excellence products to the people of Indonesia, and get enthusiastic support from the community.
In addition, several Taiwanese major brands that have long operated in the Indonesian market also sponsored this event, such as EVA Air, China Airlines, Starlux Airlines, and PT Bank CTBC Indonesia.
Not only providing full support, these brands also provide various interactive areas that are attractive to runners, including Taiwan food booths and product exhibition areas.
General Manager of EVA Air Indonesia Makmun Hamsa stated the importance of events such as Taiwan Excellence Happy Run to strengthen brand awareness in Indonesia.
"Taiwan is very important from an economic point of view, so we are here to participate so that the Indonesian people know Taiwan and also EVA Air. We are strong not only on the Jakarta-Taiwan route, but also connecting to America, Europe, and South Asia," he said.
When asked about the reason EVA Air became the main sponsor of this event, Makmun emphasized the importance of health and exercise.
